1.6 or Source?

Which do you like better?

I enjoyed 1.6, prolly because that was the only one my friend had.

I like source, the mods are more original, but 1.6 has a lot of them.

1.6 all the way!
Even though Source is a new engine; it has a new type of gameplay + graphics.
But 1.6 still owns it.

WHAT? CSS is the same game with pwn graphics and simpler mods.

Hm, it's a tie for me. Sometimes I feel I like css so much more, and vice versa, but thinking about it, there are even. 1.6 has a lot of great qualities, but so does Source.

1.6 is the game that created css so if you love css you have to love cs1.6

Well, people have the right to debate, just saying that theres not too much point to it, topic shouldn't be closed because you never know, people could pull out some interesting game facts out of nowhere and wow us all

Sorry for the late answer.
First off, the movement is different; you may notice it when you turn around, the arms have a realistic turn-around effect.
It's easier than 1.6, the models are bigger and more in proportion to the environment.
The speed is one of the principal differences; recoil and movement are faster than in 1.6.

debates are always good! it gets the mind going...personally i like source better because it feels better and upgraded.
