Here's what RPS had to say about it: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/01/23/freelite-ghost-recon-online *Shrugs* I think it could be fun, realistic or not. After all, if I wanted it to be truly realistic, wouldn't I go join the army or something? I scrounged around for more info and I'm less interested in what I found in Wikipedia instead. "This game will be supported by micro transactions, meaning that the player will "rent" a gun for n amount of days for a set price." Meh. I know it's free, so microtransactions don't really bug me any, but I won't be interested in paying. Did you guys play the original Ghost Recon?
I remember how hard the first Ghost Recon was. But this looks kind of silly. Some of these weapons, rather than being futuristic, just seem silly. Micro-transactions are the norm for free to play shooters, and they will probably also have a credits system so you can still get upgrades just by playing a lot.
